Description

You will design and develop NLP applications focused on medical entity extraction and text mining, owning the end-to-end Java application lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design databases to store NLP entities and relationships.
• Implement text representation techniques and classification algorithms.
• Train, evaluate, and refine models through statistical analysis.
• Extend machine learning libraries and frameworks for specific NLP tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an NLP Engineer or in a similar role.
• Clinical NLP experience using cTakes and UIMA.
• Strong Java development experience with ability to write robust, testable code.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare domain.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like Keras, BERT, or OpenNLP.
• Experience with libraries such as scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques for semantic extraction, data structures, and modeling.
• Familiarity with ontology tools and technologies.
