Description

You will monitor and manage core, distribution, carrier last mile, and customer premise voice and data services in a 24x7 network operations center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network surveillance and perform basic system troubleshooting for voice and data services.
• Document incidents and resolutions clearly for operational tracking.
• Escalate issues beyond your scope to senior engineers promptly.
• Prioritize tasks effectively within the 24x7 NOC workflow.
• Maintain operational documentation and participate in technical training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of NOC engineer background, or 10+ years without a degree.
• Experience in a Fiber or Wireless provider NOC.
• Strong understanding of Layer 1 (Physical) and Layer 3 (Data) protocols.
• Strong telecom background.
• Associate degree in a technology field required.

Preferred Skills

• Resourceful mindset with demonstrated grit in high-pressure environments.
