Description

You will provide 24x7x365 monitoring and technical support for telecommunications infrastructure, including transport, fiber, radio, and LAN/WAN assets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system alerts for transport, site environments, tower lighting, fiber, voice systems, and leased lines.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing ticket creation and escalations with leased line carriers through to resolution.
• Coordinate service restoration via standard on-call processes, SWAT calls, and resource dispatching.
• Manage ServiceNow reporting, Change Control support, and documentation of Knowledge Base articles.
• Act as a single point of contact for 3rd party dark fiber customers, providing outage communication and trouble support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow for ticketing and reporting.
• Experience working within NERC-CIP compliance and security frameworks.
• Knowledge of SCADA network environments.
• Ability to manage IT escalation processes and carrier communications.
• Experience with Change Advisory Board (CAB) and production review processes.
