Description
You will monitor network performance and manage incident response within a global infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues to meet SLA response times.
- Document and track incidents, resolutions, system changes, and technical playbooks.
- Collaborate with data center teams for physical device troubleshooting and work with vendors to manage Cisco RMAs and cases.
- Perform routine system checks, maintenance, and updates to ensure optimal network performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a NOC or network support role.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, Solarwinds, Dynatrace, and Alertiste.
- Experience with incident management and ITIL standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting enterprise networks and managing security protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cloud services including AWS and Azure.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification.
