Description

You will design and implement scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js and JavaScript.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices architecture following domain-driven design principles.
• Design secure custom software applications and implement effective security protocols, including OWASP and OAuth2.
• Lead developer teams by selecting appropriate tools, APIs, and design patterns to ensure code quality.
• Manage data integration and exchange models between on-premise and cloud systems, ensuring performance and traceability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and document Node.js processes, including database schemas.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT development or testing experience (or 10+ years with high school diploma).
• 5+ years of experience programming in Java and JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js or comparable frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven design.
• Experience with integration technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Mulesoft.
• Proficiency in HTML, XML, ASP, SQL, Java, or Python, along with SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Experience with continuous integration tools, Git, Atlassian BitBucket Pipelines, and Docker containers.
