Description

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.js.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security, including authentication and authorization.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and document API designs and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth).
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
