Description

You will architect and build domain-driven, event-aware microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect greenfield systems, defining service boundaries, data models, REST APIs, event streams, CI/CD, and runtime topology.
• Set API standards covering versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger, pagination, error contracts, and resilience patterns.
• Own production readiness by defining SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and driving incident triage and RCA.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to sequence dependencies and land integrated releases.
• Elevate engineering standards through code reviews, mentoring, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience on product teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing secure, resilient public APIs utilizing OAuth2/OIDC and JWT.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native deployment, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with REST and OpenAPI/Swagger specification.
• Knowledge of messaging/streaming patterns (e.g., Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Docker and Git/GitHub workflows.
