Description

Lead the design and implementation of server-side Node.js applications and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Express.js, OpenAPI, API Gateway, and Swagger.
• Design, implement, and test new features in collaboration with the development team.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing applications to improve performance and reliability.
• Integrate server-side and client-side applications alongside front-end developers.
• Mentor and coach junior developers on the team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 4+ years of experience with Express.js.
• 4+ years of experience with OpenAPI, API Gateway, and Swagger.
• 4+ years of experience in an Architect role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development using Jest.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
