Description

Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable Node.js applications within the AWS ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS.
• Debug and optimize cloud application performance and architecture.
• Implement and maintain relational databases and DynamoDB instances.
• Configure core AWS infrastructure, networking, and security components.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS.
• Knowledge of AWS compute and storage including EC2, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with networking and security via VPC, CloudFront, Route53, and Secret Manager.
• Practical use of AWS messaging and monitoring tools like SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Ability to design and implement REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS WAF.
