Description

You will design and build scalable, distributed applications on AWS, owning the full SDLC for consumer-facing web and mobile services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js.
• Implement unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Manage the full software development life cycle from design to deployment.
• Explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend API development with Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with REST or SOAP web services.
• 5+ years of experience in software design and architecture.
• Proven experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable, and highly available applications.
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD).

Preferred Skills

• Background in social, mobile, cloud/SaaS, big data, or analytics environments.
