Description

You will design and develop scalable, highly reliable distributed applications in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain large-scale, consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
• Design and implement mid-tier and backend APIs using Node.js.
• Own the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from architecture to deployment.
• Create and consume web services using REST or SOAP protocols.
• Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing web and software applications.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js for backend API development.
• 5+ years of experience in software design and architecture processes.
• 5+ years of experience working with REST or SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable applications in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Java.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies or analytics.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and open source technologies.
