Description

You will build and maintain large-scale, consumer-facing web and mobile applications using Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed, scalable, and highly reliable applications in the cloud.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design through deployment.
• Architect backend APIs and mid-tier services to support high availability.
• Create and consume web services using REST or SOAP protocols.
• Implement unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing web and software applications.
• 5+ years of experience building mid-tier and Backend APIs with Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience in software design and architecture processes.
• 5+ years of experience working with REST or SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services.
• Experience developing large-scale, consumer-facing applications.
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks and open source technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
