Key skills: Node.js (v22+ preferred), TypeScript, Express.js REST API development and backend integrations Redis session/state management Database design and optimization (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) Secure web development (Helmet, CSP, secure cookies, OAuth/JWT) Jest testing and API contract testing tools (WireMock preferred) AWS, CI/CD, Docker experience Accessibility awareness (WCAG 2.2 AA) Experience with GOV.UK/NHS frontend toolkits is a plus
