Description

You will design, develop, and maintain secure backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs to integrate with external services and internal systems.
• Build and maintain microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Monitor backend service performance and troubleshoot emerging issues.
• Implement security and scalability best practices across all services.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience with Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in at least three of: REST APIs, Protobuf, gRPC, Server Sent Events, WebSockets, or GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker and general containerization.
• Working knowledge of at least one message broker such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, or MSSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB), and Redis.
• Ability to implement unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of AWS services.
• Experience integrating monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB.
