Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js in a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, testable code using JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Manage data persistence using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement unit testing and debugging processes to ensure code quality.
• Deploy and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js or Nest.js.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and API development.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Understanding of web application security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL and message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Exposure to DevOps tools including Prometheus or the ELK stack.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
