Description

You will build and maintain server-side applications and user-facing features using Node.js.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new RESTful services and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Build reusable components, server-side libraries, and implement server-side templating.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
• Write unit tests for all code, including interfaces with other systems, prior to QA.
• Perform benchmarking and optimization to ensure system efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Deep knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Express, Async, Lodash, and Socket.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and server-side templating languages such as Jade or EJS.
• Hands-on experience with code versioning tools like Git or SVN.
• Knowledge of data structure libraries such as Immutable.js.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and NestJS.
