Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly-available RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within a distributed services ecosystem.
• Ensure quality in technical architecture and system design across the organization.
• Research and benchmark technologies against industry standards.
• Apply best practices for coding, security, unit testing, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Practical experience building with GraphQL.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of message queues, including Kafka and Pushpin.
• Understanding of authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth, REST).
