Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript. You own specific sections of software designs, applying patterns to produce clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Apply software design principles and patterns to ensure code quality.
• Overcome technical obstacles independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly across organizational levels.
• Maintain and optimize relational databases and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure technologies: Functions, Web Apps, Application Gateway, and Databricks.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, Gradle, or Maven).
• Practical knowledge of TDD, SOLID, and Gang of Four patterns.
• Experience with web build tools like npm, Browserify, or Webpack.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FDA and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience working within Agile software development lifecycles.
• In-depth Object-oriented programming expertise.
