Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for the platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Design scalable data storage solutions using MySQL and MongoDB, optimizing schemas and queries.
• Architect and implement event-driven systems using Kafka and SQS for real-time processing.
• Ensure API security through input validation, authentication, and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate backend components seamlessly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka and SQS.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Prior experience in the eCommerce industry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex event streaming and real-time data processing.
• Background in high-traffic eCommerce platforms.
