Description

Build and maintain secure backend services within a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop APIs to integrate with external services and internal systems.
• Implement security and scalability best practices across all services.
• Monitor backend service performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless user experience.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience working with Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following: REST APIs, Protobuf, gRPC, Server Sent Events, WebSockets, or GraphQL.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with at least one message broker such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DocumentDB), and Redis.
• Knowledge of integrating monitoring and auditing tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Experience implementing unit and integration tests.
• Working knowledge of AWS and its core services.
