Description

Build and maintain scalable backend microservices and APIs while supporting frontend interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Build frontend interfaces using React.js, Redux, or Vue.js.
• Manage data persistence layers using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications within Linux-based environments on Mac hardware.
• Implement load balancing and enforce JSON standards across the stack.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Node.js backend development with strong coding skills.
• 2+ years of experience with React.js, Redux, and/or Vue.js.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, CockroachDB).
• Proficiency in Node.js web frameworks such as Express, Sails, or Hapi.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with microservices architecture, API construction, and load balancing.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to work in a Linux-based development and deployment environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java backend technologies.
