Description

Develop and maintain backend services within a distributed team environment. Own the full lifecycle of scalable services built with Node.js, Go, and Java.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale microservices using Node.js, Go, and Java.
• Deploy applications to Kubernetes-managed Docker containers across private and public clouds.
• Manage code versioning via GitHub Enterprise and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement data persistence layers using Postgres, Couchbase, Cassandra, and Redis.
• Monitor application performance and observability using OpenTracing, Jaeger, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Go and Java.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Familiarity with GCP and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, or SVN).
• Knowledge of API development and FaaS.
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Dynatrace.
• Ability to work in Phoenix, AZ, either fully onsite or in a hybrid capacity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of Kotlin, TypeScript, or Python.
