Description

You will design, implement, and maintain specific sections of the software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software components using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Maintain existing codebases and ensure software design principles are followed.
• Work independently to overcome technical obstacles and manage multiple priorities.
• Communicate technical progress and design decisions across different levels of the organization.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure technologies including Application Gateway, Functions, Web Apps, and Databricks.
• Practical knowledge of web build tools such as npm, Browserify, or Webpack.
• Experience managing code and deployments via Git and CI/CD pipelines like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, or Bamboo.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, including TDD, SOLID, and Gang of Four.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within FDA and HIPAA regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development lifecycles.
• Deep knowledge of Object-oriented programming.
