Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement microservices architectures.
• Manage data persistence with MongoDB and MySQL.
• Handle background jobs and queues using Redis and BullMQ.
• Manage version control and code collaboration via Git.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in Express.js framework.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with Redis and BullMQ for task queuing.
• Proficient in Git for source control management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
