Description

Design, architect, and deliver backend web projects from conception to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL interfaces.
• Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways and Google Firebase.
• Implement scaling, data protection, and security protocols.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and conduct peer code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or Restify.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and ES6.
• Extensive experience with MongoDB and other data storage solutions including RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and JIRA.
• Practical knowledge of Bootstrap, Grunt, Babel, and Webpack.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudFront, SES, and CodeDeploy.
• Ability to work with micro-services and containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with WebSockets.
• Knowledge of Redis and task queues.
