Description

You will build and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, versioned modules for cross-project use.
• Design and implement APIs using Express.js and GraphQL.
• Optimize web performance through bundle optimization and server-side tuning.
• Apply TDD and Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript standards (ECMAScript 5 and 6).
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts.
• Experience with HTTP, WebSockets, cookies, and asset caching.
• Hands-on experience with Webpack or Rollup.
• Expertise in Babel transpilation for production.
• Experience containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Serverless programming using AWS Lambda, Amplify, or SAM.
• Knowledge of Python for serverless development.
