Description

Build and maintain scalable microservices and optimized APIs in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and implement data models using relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Write unit tests using Jest and perform BDD testing using Mockito.
• Manage deployments using container-based technologies and automated CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Automation stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful web APIs and distributed computing.
• Proficiency with SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building GraphQL APIs.
