Description

Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs in Sunnyvale, CA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement unit testing with Jest and BDD testing with Mockito.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Automation stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on expertise with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, specifically SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with container-based technologies including Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM environments.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building GraphQL APIs.
