Description

You will build and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design database schemas that support core business processes.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.
• Implement user authentication and authorization across different servers and environments.
• Develop and maintain unit tests and automated testing platforms.
• Optimize application output for various delivery platforms, including mobile and desktop.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Proficiency with associated frameworks like Express or StrongLoop.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and workarounds.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience with server-side templating languages such as Jade or EJS.
• Knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors like Stylus or Less.
• Solid foundation in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance requirements.
• Ability to apply fundamental design principles for scalable application architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing complex integrations between multiple systems and environments.
