Description

You will build and maintain serverless applications and microservices within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and write code for serverless frameworks using Node.js.
• Transform complex business requirements into technical design specifications.
• Develop, integrate, and test REST APIs.
• Design optimal data models based on application needs and system performance.
• Manage deployment and source control using GitLab, Team Foundation Server, and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading application development for AWS target environments.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience working within microservice architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and its APIs, including File System, Clusters, Console, and OS.
• Ability to write complex queries in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL databases including Elasticsearch and DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS services: VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ELB, Auto Scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Java IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or Visual Studio.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend development experience using Angular.
• Knowledge of Docker Engine, Hub, Machine, Compose, and Docker Registry.
• Ability to design and work with Swagger documentation.
