Description

You will build and maintain backend web services, REST APIs, and full-stack technical solutions using Node.js, Java, and Angular.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend web services and REST APIs using Node.js and Java.
• Develop user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Design, test, and implement full-stack technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on expertise in Node.js, REST API development, and 12-factor microservice principles.
• Proficiency in AWS services including ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC, and SQS.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong frontend skills in Angular, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• 3+ years of experience writing Node.js unit tests using Jest and Mocha.
• 2+ years of experience working specifically with Node.js V10.
• 3+ years of experience handling databases using Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Open-Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Jasmine, and Karma.
