Description

You will develop and maintain cloud-based REST microservices for mobility applications, owning the end-to-end development lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build NodeJS microservices and mobility backend platforms, including QA and integration services.
• Provide production support, managing incidents and delivering bug fixes for internal and third-party systems.
• Create Low-Level Designs (LLDs), release notes, and deployment documentation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Gitlab or Nexus to maintain technology best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Solution Architects to meet business requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total technology experience with significant exposure to digital and mobility platforms.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing NodeJS microservices.
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS, Express NodeJS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with MVC frameworks and REST API development.
• Knowledge of design patterns, code refactoring, and building scalable applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java or other backend languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Full Stack development concepts.
