Build and maintain server-side logic and data storage solutions for high-availability applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side logic and maintain central databases.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and manage data interchange.
• Design and implement low-latency, performant applications with integrated security and data protection.
• Create database schemas that support business processes and integrate multiple data sources.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, including its quirks and workarounds.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems and environments.
• Understanding of accessibility, security compliance, and scalable application design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing output for different delivery platforms like mobile and desktop.
