Description

Lead fullstack development efforts using Node.js and Vue.js. You will own the release pipeline, manage offshore teams, and design scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams through PR reviews, code merging, and deployment processes.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and database schemas that support business logic.
• Build and deploy applications to cloud environments using Kubernetes.
• Manage offshore development teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Write efficient, secure, and well-documented JavaScript code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ES6 syntax, and functional or OOP paradigms.
• Deep expertise in Vue.js, including Vuex, Vue Router, and core reactivity principles.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Postgres and MongoDB.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Kafka for data streaming.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Ability to complete complex projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the Media & Entertainment domain.
