Node.js Lead

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend services and microservices for business-critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement domain-driven, event-driven systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design secure, resilient, and high-availability APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural governance.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive system performance and reliability initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement modern architectural patterns to improve platform capabilities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role within product-focused teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including entities, aggregates, and bounded contexts.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservices patterns: Saga, Outbox, and Circuit Breaker.
• Proven experience designing secure public-facing APIs with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience with security best practices, including secrets management and TLS/SSL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native application development and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps methodologies.
