Description

You will design, implement, and document cloud-based projects that interact with internal and external systems. You will own the development of scalable, highly available production services within the AWS ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex, scalable microservices using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Participate in code and architecture reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Contribute to technology decisions, evaluating new architectures and processes.
• Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM environment to deliver business value.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of modern TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and AWS API Gateway.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases, preferably AWS DynamoDB.
• Experience with DevOps infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK or AWS SAM.
• Knowledge of cloud-based security including AWS Cognito, Secrets Manager, or GuardDuty.
• Strong command of Git and workflows like GitFlow.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with React, Redux, and Webpack.
• Experience working with feature flags.
