Description

Build and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side logic and integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
• Implement user authentication and authorization protocols across multiple systems and environments.
• Design database schemas that support specific business processes.
• Write unit tests and implement automated testing platforms.
• Optimize application output for different delivery platforms, including mobile and desktop.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience working with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or StrongLoop.
• Working knowledge of server-side templating languages like Jade or EJS.
• Experience with server-side CSS processors such as Stylus or Less.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools.
• Experience with CMS frameworks and troubleshooting/debugging in browsers.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into finished projects.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
