Description

You will manage and optimize NoSQL database environments, specifically MongoDB and Aerospike deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database operations including configuration, performance tuning, sharding, and cross data center replication.
• Own incident, change, release, and problem management processes.
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize queries and improve execution plans.
• Execute capacity planning, backup and restore procedures, and log rotation/retention.
• Develop automation, monitoring tools, and data integration solutions using scripts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL database configuration and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of XDReplication, partitions, migrations, and master-replica concepts.
• Expertise in sharding, indexing, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and shell or Python scripting.
• Experience with Ansible, PowerShell, or SaltStack.
• Knowledge of in-memory data stores.
• Experience with Splunk for query development and dashboard creation.
• Ability to manage alerting and monitoring systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing MongoDB and Aerospike deployments.
