Description

You will manage database operations and upgrades for MongoDB and MariaDB environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute database upgrades, including testing and formal sign-off with application owners.
• Coordinate with application teams to ensure compatibility with upgraded client-side drivers.
• Maintain upgrade plans, tracking milestones, server counts, and progress reports.
• Escalate technical blockers to ensure timely project completion.
• Act as a technical representative when coordinating with application teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in database operations.
• Direct experience with MongoDB.
• Direct experience with MariaDB or MySQL.
• Direct experience with Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of database operations and maintenance.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical requirements with application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
