Description

You will manage database operations and upgrades for MongoDB and MariaDB environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute database upgrades, including testing and obtaining formal sign-off from application owners.
• Coordinate with application teams to ensure client-side driver compatibility following upgrades.
• Maintain project milestones, tracking server counts and providing weekly progress reports on upgrade status.
• Escalate technical blockers to ensure timely project completion.
• Act as a technical representative when coordinating with stakeholders and application teams.

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in database operations.
• Direct experience with MongoDB.
• Direct experience with MariaDB or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience managing database server upgrade lifecycles.
• Strong verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
