Description

You will manage and support NoSQL database environments, focusing on Couchbase and general NoSQL architecture.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer multiple NoSQL instances to ensure platform stability and availability.
• Manage 24x7 database operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and health monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams on database design, modeling, and capacity planning.
• Implement backup and archival strategies according to data retention requirements.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• In-depth understanding of NoSQL database concepts and high availability strategies, including replication, sharding, and failover.
• Hands-on experience with Couchbase.
• Proficiency with Shell scripting.
• Experience with Python, PHP, Perl, Java, or Ruby.
• Ability to support application deployments through performance and functional testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate or equivalent work experience.
