Description

You lead medium-sized development programs from initial proposal through product launch and first production delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Integrated Project Teams (IPT) for customer-funded or IR&D authorized development efforts.
• Manage program budgets, meeting Product Cost Targets and controlling expenditures.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure achievable timelines and facility capacity.
• Generate work authorization documentation defining scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Execute contract negotiations in coordination with the Contract Manager.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of project management experience within technical and manufacturing environments.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience managing technical programs.
• Ability to lead major proposal efforts and programs across multiple sites.
• Experience managing program schedules and budget updates.
• Strong communication skills for presenting program reviews to senior management and customers.

Preferred Skills

• DOD pricing and contract experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading a development IPT or in a supervisory role.
