Description

You will implement and administer VMware VCF software suites and software-defined network technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement VMware VCF tools including SDDC, vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, and Aria.
• Configure L4/L7 Distributed Firewall rules and IDS/IPS functionality.
• Manage NSX-T Advanced Local and Global load balancing.
• Apply software updates and security patches to the VCF environment.
• Deploy Workspace One/Horizon VDI solutions integrated with Azure AD and NSX-T identity-based firewalling.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software-defined network technologies.
• Deep expertise in NSX-T Datacenter 3.1.3/3.2.x, including T1/T0 segments and VDS.
• Experience with BGP peering between NSX-T and Cisco ACI.
• Knowledge of Avi Global (DNS) and Local load balancing with L7 monitoring.
• Understanding of VxLAN/Geneve based Federated stretch NSX-T segments.
• Familiarity with VMware ESXi vSphere/vCenter 7.x/8.x and vSAN hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Ability to support on-premises cloud solutions with NSX-T extensions into AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Ansible automation pipelines.
• Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, and advanced routing protocols.
• Experience administering VMware IT server, networking, and SAN storage solutions.
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional Network Virtualization Design 2023 certification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Aria suite (vROps, vCenter, vRA, Log Insight) and VMware Horizon.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or VMware Certified Design Expert Network Virtualization 2023.
