Description

Serve as the subject matter expert for Nutanix Calm automation and orchestration across on-prem and multi-cloud environments. Own the infrastructure lifecycle, from provisioning to migration and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Automate orchestration and provisioning workflows within Nutanix Calm across multi-cloud deployments.
• Manage Nutanix Prism Central clusters, optimizing resource utilization, load balancing, and high availability.
• Create OS golden images for VMs and appliances using SysPrep and Cloud-Init.
• Monitor system integrity, hardware resources, and application logs to ensure service availability.
• Execute application and server migrations from legacy environments to optimize costs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure administration and virtualization.
• Expertise in Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or Citrix.
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix Prism Central Cluster Management.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, and other flavors) administration.
• Experience with compute management, provisioning, and clustering.
• Hands-on knowledge of network switches, firewall management, and backup storage.
• Competency in disaster recovery (DRS) and capacity planning.
• Ability to manage virtual server infrastructure, including hosts, VMs, and containers.
• Degree in any graduate field.
