Description

You will manage and optimize Nutanix clusters, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V environments within a highly available infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Nutanix clusters and VMware vSphere environments.
• Manage Nutanix clusters, operating systems, and workstations.
• Administer Active Directory, including GPO setup and domain backup/recovery.
• Monitor system health and performance to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts.
• Execute patch and firmware management, disaster recovery planning, and system restores.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or cyber security.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in Windows Server/Desktop and Linux operating systems.
• Strong networking knowledge including DHCP, DNS, Routing, and Firewalls.
• Experience with storage RAID configurations and file systems.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, KSH, or Perl for task automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with security principles, ACLs, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Ability to lift and transport server equipment and valid driver’s license for travel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk and SQL query analysis.
• Experience providing 2nd and 3rd-level technical support.
