Description

Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server, SQL Server, and virtualization environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure.
• Administer and tune Microsoft SQL Server installations and queries.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Apply system hardening and vulnerability management security practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration for mid to large-scale environments.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix.
• Deep understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs).
• Proven experience managing SQL Server environments and performance tuning.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows Server patching strategies.
