Description

You will manage and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure and Cisco network environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure, link failures, configuration mismatches, latency, and packet drops.
• Conduct root cause analysis on network incidents and resolve license issues across Cisco platforms.
• Implement and manage L2 technologies including VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VSS, VDC, and VPC.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, and ISIS, including route redistribution.
• Execute migration activities such as ASA to FTD, SDWAN, and Nexus to ACI.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst switches (2960, 3650, 3850, 4500, 6500, 9300, 9500) and Nexus (5K, 7K, 9K).
• Proficiency with Cisco routers including 2900, 3900, 4221, and 4400 series, and ASR.
• Expertise in Cisco Firewalls (ASA 5506-5585 series, Firepower 2100/4100 series) and FMC.
• Strong knowledge of SDWAN, ISE, DNAC, ACI, and Wireless controllers.
• Deep understanding of IPsec VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and ACLs.
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP, OSI models, IP addressing, subnetting, and ARP.
• Experience with L2/L3 protocols: Ether-channel, HSRP, PBR, and NAT.
• CCNP level knowledge of switching and routing.

Preferred Skills

• Perform hardware-level troubleshooting and IOS/SUP upgrades on Cisco switches and routers.
