Description

You will develop and implement custom solutions within Siemens NX to automate design processes and ensure consistency across engineering workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom applications, scripts, and tools using Siemens NX Open API and UFunc.
• Automate repetitive design tasks including part creation, assembly generation, and drawing production.
• Implement NX/Teamcenter integrations involving attribute mapping, seed parts, templates, and ITK/SOA.
• Customize user interfaces, menus, and toolbars using Block UI Styler.
• Develop parametric models and rule-based design automation to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Siemens NX customization and configuration.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, VB.NET, or Python.
• Extensive experience with NX Open API, UFunc, NX Knowledge Fusion, and NX GRIP.
• Hands-on experience with NX CAD modules including Modeling, Drafting, Assembly, and Routing.
• Experience with MBD/PMI and Checkmate implementation.
• Strong knowledge of NX/Teamcenter architecture and integration.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Experience managing development workflows within Jira using Agile Scrum methodology.
• Solid understanding of CAD modeling, assembly design, and parametric design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating NX with external applications and databases.
