You will design and optimize observability frameworks to improve operational efficiency and predictive monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on failed batch jobs using logs and monitoring tools to implement tactical and strategic fixes.
• Identify system bottlenecks, degradations, and failures to drive automation and simplify the operating space.
• Manage incidents using ticketing tools, ensuring adherence to SLAs, triage processes, and escalation protocols in 24x7 environments.
• Develop technical documentation including SOPs, job runbooks, incident postmortems, and performance reports.
• Leverage Gen AI and automation to build operating efficiencies and measure system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in observability or systems architecture.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS.
• Experience with batch monitoring and scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or TWS.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica, Hadoop (Cloudera/HDP), Teradata, Snowflake, and SQL.
• Knowledge of data manipulation, SSIS, and Mainframe scripting/automation.
• Experience managing change control processes, code promotion, and rollback strategies.
• Competency in data quality, governance tools, and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying Gen AI to automate operational tasks.
