Description

You will partner with engineering teams to implement standardized observability patterns aligned to the company's framework. You will advise teams on adopting OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for metrics, logs, and traces. You will design and maintain application integrations in systems such as Prometheus, VictoriaLogs, Jaeger, and Grafana. You will contribute to framework development by creating dashboard templates, libraries, and documentation. You will enable engineers through workshops, pairing sessions, and reference implementations.

Responsibilities

• Implement standardized observability patterns across engineering teams.
• Adopt OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Design and maintain integrations with Prometheus, VictoriaLogs, Jaeger, and Grafana.
• Create and improve dashboard templates, libraries, and documentation.
• Educate engineers through workshops and pairing sessions.

Required Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of software development experience, proficient in multiple programming languages.
• 3-4 years in large-scale infrastructure development, specifically with Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with tracing systems.
